DJ Tiesto has been elevated to mythical status as one of the world's foremost trance DJs. He has been nominated for a Grammy, had worldwide hit singles (his remix of Delerium's Silence featuring Sarah McLachlan; Dance4Life featuring Faithless's Maxi Jazz). DJ Tiesto has performed at the opening ceremony of the Athens Olympics with music he composed, and remixed the likes of The Killers, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Bloc Party.
